Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine,

How are you doing?
I am doing really good!

Did you smile today?

If not, Sunshine, show me that beautiful smile of yours, which not only lightens up my day but, everyone else’s day around you.

Now, let us start talking, my dearest!

Enjoying the festivities?
I know this COVID is taking a toll on every bit that we could have enjoyed by going out and spending quality time with our loved ones but, it is fine my Sunshine, these are all the experiences that we’ll definitely remember while telling bed time stories to our grandchildren (Stop smiling, Sunshine :P ).

By the way, I am here today, to discuss with you something important, something that I have been wanting to talk about for a while now.

The working class is back on track, working fathers and mothers have started going to their workplaces and the house managers are sort off used to working from home but, amidst all this, we are forgetting about some important people.

The school and college- going students.

I know you are one of them or at least know the school and college- going students in your relation or in your locality.

They sit in front of their phone/ laptop screens from the moment they wake up and sometimes even till evening or night, not realizing how much just doing this is taking a toll on their health.

Their posture is never straight, okay some of you might be taking care of your posture but, it is not always possible to sit straight the whole day.

The beautiful eyes that are a gift to us, tend to have pain even before its night.

It is advised not to have food on bed but, where have we come now? Students need to have breakfast/ lunch on their bed while studying.

Yes, it is good to be a multi- tasker but all these habits that you’ve developed because of lockdown and COVID are bad in every sense.

Sunshine, all I have to say in this is that, whenever possible straighten your posture, add reminders on your phone (if possible) to remind you about drinking water, taking breaks in between classes for at least 5-10 minutes, slightly massage your eyes, relax them for a while and then start studying, lie down to keep your back straight (with or without a pillow, however possible).

Sunshine, no one knows yet if and when the situation would be better but, we should do our part, right?

If everything going wrong, then at least remember that you have your own body to take care of.

You are a blessed soul, Sunshine!

You are loved, and will always be loved, by me, yourself, and this whole amazingly beautiful Universe.

Take care, Sunshine
With loads and loads of love,
And positivity,

Yours self

A self love letter to you, from you, Sunshine :)

Hello Sunshine, How have you been doing these past few days? I know, this is a touché topic to talk about these days but I hope things will get better real soon and we’ll all be able to forget this new normal and will get back to being out older selves with a few changed and better habits that we learned throughout this pandemic. Sunshine, it is not always easy to be our best selves in all the situations but you’ve got to start from a certain point, right? I heard you’ve been thinking that you’re turning into an emotionless being? That you have no idea what you are feeling and why. Tell me something, didn’t you smile last night when your whole family was with you last night, enjoying dinner and watching TV while talking about your childhood memories they cherish till date? Didn’t you embrace the wind you felt on your face while riding your scooter? Didn’t it make you smile? Didn’t you cry when you thought about the fact that there might be a few years left for you to live wi...

Let's pour our heart out today!!

People often say, things never come easily to us. We need to work hard and really very hard to get the things in life that we really want to achieve. Often times I think about being a content writer, sometimes a data scientist or maybe a teacher or just staying a reader for life. People say that I've not been doing much in life professionally/ career related because they do not see me growing. I too think about all this many a times because who doesn't? I like to call these kind of days, " Reflection Days " when I sit down with a diary in hand (sometimes not even a diary) and think about everything I have done, achieved, experienced, regret not doing in this whole life or just the past year to be specific. The conclusion that I reach upon is considerably vague because I just cannot reach a proper conclusion to all these things, I guess no one can. Nonetheless, I reach upon the conclusion that I might have not done what my friends are doing or I might not have achieved...
