My thoughts on "Love for imperfect things"

Everybody needs time alone.
When you have spent the whole day at work
being harassed by others, and then return home
to find your family won’t leave you in peace,
you can easily become annoyed or angry.

At such times, do not blame yourself for getting annoyed.
Instead, take some time for yourself by stopping by
your favorite bookstore, coffee shop, or a temple perhaps.
Go for a quiet walk alone and listen to your favorite songs.
Being alone makes the world pause for a moment
and helps to restore harmony.

So, I have been reading this book called “Love for imperfect things: How to accept yourself in a world striving for perfection” by Haemin Sunim, and this was one of the quotes I read in the novel.

What do you think about this quote dear one?
Do we really need some time alone or is it just a myth?

Well, I think taking some time alone is a necessity. After having a tiring day at work when you are on your way home, your mind is full of chaos, stress, and worries of the whole day, which will continue to remain that way if you don’t take a break.

As the author has rightly said, we can go anywhere, be it a temple, a bookstore, a café, or just take a walk alone listening to some peaceful music. All these things help us lighten our mood and go back to meet our families in a happy way.

Maybe, you can even take some ice-cream for everyone on your way home which will definitely lighten up everyone’s gloomy day.

You know, there are loads of things that I would want to talk about with you, quotes, poems, write-ups from this beautiful book but, let us keep it one mail, one topic at a time.

I am not asking you to start living alone all by yourself, even the Author isn’t asking you to do so, all we are trying to say is, you should take a break once in a while, be with yourselves, acknowledge your feelings and emotions, it is not always important to be with people around you and it is completely fine to go on dates with yourself, love yourself, prioritize yourself and just being you.

So, this is it for today’s letter, dear one.

I hope you will take breaks whenever you think it is necessary.

We’ll meet in the next letter, Sunshine.
Till then, keep smiling and keep shining.

Love yourself,
Simran

"The part I left you with" by Rahul Saini

The book goes around two pivots over a significant period of time. This story spins around three characters and manages their view of life and of adoration. This story's method of managing love is very unique to that of the majority of the other Indian love stories. The arrangements with affection as an inclination, love as an overall experience, and dropping out of adoration by and large. Every one of the three characters here goes through an excursion to find their own self and personality over the span of the novel. School life is also explored and I can undoubtedly associate with it. What I noted and loved were those interesting email addresses. The part where Ratna's father and Ratna had a significant conversation about young ladies and what are they fit for filled my heart with joy. I enjoyed the part that Ratna's father played in this entire story and how much love he gives to her. The pieces of Ronit's journal made the book more fascinating to peruse. I understo...
