A self love letter, to you, from you

Good Morning Sunshine,

It is indeed a very beautiful morning today, it is almost 7 in the morning, I have a hot cup of detox water in one hand, sipping through it feels good. I can taste the bittersweet flavors of lemon and honey. With the other hand, I am writing this letter to you and hoping that you’re doing the same i.e., trying to live in the moment and feeling grateful for everything around you.

There is a book too underneath the diary, waiting to be opened, smelled and read. We’ll both do so in a while.

There is no particular reason as to why we woke up early today but I am glad we did. Else, we’d have missed another beautiful morning and this gentle breeze slightly touching our face and seeing people here from the balcony. Sunshine, we are truly grateful for how beautiful this morning turned out to be, how we are able to wake up and just sit in the balcony full of plants and just be in the moment, what else could’ve made this morning better, my dearest?

You must be wondering who are ‘we’ in this letter, right?

We denote me and my inner self, the consciousness or the sub-conscious mind or the inner child.

Since, our very childhood we have been making our childhood miserable with all the negative talk and with all the doubts and fears we’ve created for ourselves in the subconscious, all of this truly do not make us live our lives in a better way.

We have all got to resurface our inner child and mend our pasts in order to live a better future.

I know, this statement made you question a lot of things but, just let this statement sink in first and think about it, think about any incident from your childhood, maybe an incident which you started relating to a materialistic think. For example, some people hate milk because they start associating it with a bad memory from their past.

All I am trying to tell you here is, that, start apologizing to your inner child and talk to yourself, tell yourself things that make you happy and that make you look forward to your better future, tell yourself affirmations, talk to your inner child as you’d want your parents to talk to you.

It will take time but, your inner child your subconscious and you will become better friends soon, with no bad memories whatsoever.

Sunshine, I am so so proud of you, today is the best day of our lives and we’ll definitely live this day to its fullest.

With loads and loads of love,

And positivity,

Yours Self

A self love letter to you, from you, Sunshine :)

Hello Sunshine, How have you been doing these past few days? I know, this is a touché topic to talk about these days but I hope things will get better real soon and we’ll all be able to forget this new normal and will get back to being out older selves with a few changed and better habits that we learned throughout this pandemic. Sunshine, it is not always easy to be our best selves in all the situations but you’ve got to start from a certain point, right? I heard you’ve been thinking that you’re turning into an emotionless being? That you have no idea what you are feeling and why. Tell me something, didn’t you smile last night when your whole family was with you last night, enjoying dinner and watching TV while talking about your childhood memories they cherish till date? Didn’t you embrace the wind you felt on your face while riding your scooter? Didn’t it make you smile? Didn’t you cry when you thought about the fact that there might be a few years left for you to live wi...

Let's pour our heart out today!!

People often say, things never come easily to us. We need to work hard and really very hard to get the things in life that we really want to achieve. Often times I think about being a content writer, sometimes a data scientist or maybe a teacher or just staying a reader for life. People say that I've not been doing much in life professionally/ career related because they do not see me growing. I too think about all this many a times because who doesn't? I like to call these kind of days, " Reflection Days " when I sit down with a diary in hand (sometimes not even a diary) and think about everything I have done, achieved, experienced, regret not doing in this whole life or just the past year to be specific. The conclusion that I reach upon is considerably vague because I just cannot reach a proper conclusion to all these things, I guess no one can. Nonetheless, I reach upon the conclusion that I might have not done what my friends are doing or I might not have achieved...
