ARE YOU GAME?

Hello everyone.
Today we'll talk about the book called "ARE YOU GAME?" authored by SARAVANA KUMAR MURUGANA.

BLURB
The reality game show ‘Are you Game?’ is all set to be aired in the first week of August. The show is already an internet sensation due to the norms, and the selection process. It’s the first-of-its-kind-show to be broadcast live on YouTube. The game show has three rigorous challenges. Participants are to select one and live with the challenge for 30 days. Whoever makes it to the thirtieth day would be awarded One Crore Indian Rupees. No upper cap on winners.
The gorgeous Niharika and handsome Nirav are all set to host the show. Ms. Eye would play the invisible Boss. Simi, a reporter from lastpost.com, also Nirav’s ex-girlfriend, will cover the show offline. The three beautiful ladies, Sikha, Ragini and Sanju, opt for the sexiest challenge. The four machos, Akshay, Vinay, Vivek, and Raghav, along with Julie, opt for the simplest challenge. While Veer, a transgender, opts for the pill challenge.
Can they do it for 30 days?
Simi calls Nirav a sex-animal while covering the show on day two. Can they mend things and fall in love again? Sikha and Akshay fall in love, too, but can they sustain the challenge?
Who will make it to the winning line to deliver the winning speech at the award ceremony?

MY REVIEW
Saravana's books have always been a delight to read and I'm one of the readers who love reading his books.
One major advantage is that he writes short yet beautiful stories and "ARE YOU GAME?" is one of them.
This book is about several people participating in a reality show which is to be telecasted live on Youtube.
There are three different challenges, each person has to take up one challenge and live with it for the duration of a month.
This one's an interesting read because I've read about such a concept for the first time.
This book is about self- realization, friendship, love for the people around us and self- love.
I really think everyone should give it a read because honestly, I loved this one and finished reading it in one go.

MY RATINGS
4.5 on 5 stars

A self love letter to you, from you, Sunshine :)

Hello Sunshine, How have you been doing these past few days? I know, this is a touché topic to talk about these days but I hope things will get better real soon and we’ll all be able to forget this new normal and will get back to being out older selves with a few changed and better habits that we learned throughout this pandemic. Sunshine, it is not always easy to be our best selves in all the situations but you’ve got to start from a certain point, right? I heard you’ve been thinking that you’re turning into an emotionless being? That you have no idea what you are feeling and why. Tell me something, didn’t you smile last night when your whole family was with you last night, enjoying dinner and watching TV while talking about your childhood memories they cherish till date? Didn’t you embrace the wind you felt on your face while riding your scooter? Didn’t it make you smile? Didn’t you cry when you thought about the fact that there might be a few years left for you to live wi...

Let's pour our heart out today!!

People often say, things never come easily to us. We need to work hard and really very hard to get the things in life that we really want to achieve. Often times I think about being a content writer, sometimes a data scientist or maybe a teacher or just staying a reader for life. People say that I've not been doing much in life professionally/ career related because they do not see me growing. I too think about all this many a times because who doesn't? I like to call these kind of days, " Reflection Days " when I sit down with a diary in hand (sometimes not even a diary) and think about everything I have done, achieved, experienced, regret not doing in this whole life or just the past year to be specific. The conclusion that I reach upon is considerably vague because I just cannot reach a proper conclusion to all these things, I guess no one can. Nonetheless, I reach upon the conclusion that I might have not done what my friends are doing or I might not have achieved...

"The part I left you with" by Rahul Saini

The book goes around two pivots over a significant period of time. This story spins around three characters and manages their view of life and of adoration. This story's method of managing love is very unique to that of the majority of the other Indian love stories. The arrangements with affection as an inclination, love as an overall experience, and dropping out of adoration by and large. Every one of the three characters here goes through an excursion to find their own self and personality over the span of the novel. School life is also explored and I can undoubtedly associate with it. What I noted and loved were those interesting email addresses. The part where Ratna's father and Ratna had a significant conversation about young ladies and what are they fit for filled my heart with joy. I enjoyed the part that Ratna's father played in this entire story and how much love he gives to her. The pieces of Ronit's journal made the book more fascinating to peruse. I understo...
