IVORY GLEAM

First of all, I would like to thank the Author, Dr. Priya Dolma Tamang for sending this beautiful book, with a gift and a cute note.

Alright, so the Blurb of the book says:

A deluge of poetry and prose, ambiguously honoring the essence of existence from birth onto death, life and loss, self and society, romantic love and pensive longing, melancholy of regret to gratitude in healing, and the struggles of and strength in femininity. A potpourri of musings assembled with a hint of practical spirituality, to be savored passably as an oracle of hearts to the many answers, whose questions our minds are yet to comprehend. Ivory Gleam is split into three chapters of learning, longing and loving. Each chapter is a journey traversing a different road to the ultimate destination of self-reflection.

Now, let's talk about this beautifully written book.

1. BOOK COVER
I really like the cover of the book. It is a combination of pink, yellow and white.
The colour pink signifies care, compassion and love.
Yellow signifies happiness and positivity.
White represents peace and purity.
The cover itself looks so satisfying and peaceful that every reader wants to read this book just by looking at the cover.

2. TITLE OF THE BOOK
Title of the book is IVORY GLEAM and it is well appropriate as per the content.

3. BOOK CONTENT
Alright, so this book is a collection of poems which are divided into three sections:

  • Colloquial delicacy of writing
  • Soliloquy of longing
  • Chivalry of loving

Through this book, the Author has tried to make herself as well as her readers a better, peaceful and spiritual person.

4. RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • New readers
  • Readers in search of peace both inside out.
MY RATINGS: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Didn’t you embrace the wind you felt on your face while riding your scooter? Didn’t it make you smile? Didn’t you cry when you thought about the fact that there might be a few years left for you to live wi...

"The part I left you with" by Rahul Saini

The book goes around two pivots over a significant period of time. This story spins around three characters and manages their view of life and of adoration. This story's method of managing love is very unique to that of the majority of the other Indian love stories. The arrangements with affection as an inclination, love as an overall experience, and dropping out of adoration by and large. Every one of the three characters here goes through an excursion to find their own self and personality over the span of the novel. School life is also explored and I can undoubtedly associate with it. What I noted and loved were those interesting email addresses. The part where Ratna's father and Ratna had a significant conversation about young ladies and what are they fit for filled my heart with joy. I enjoyed the part that Ratna's father played in this entire story and how much love he gives to her. The pieces of Ronit's journal made the book more fascinating to peruse. I understo...
