Have you listened to the songs from the lost soul?

Welcome back to  Book Reviews By Simran . For today, We'll be talking about  SONGS FROM A LOST SOUL  by  A.G. WILSON Blurb: You may call these works of mine songs, and I will thank you for it, You may call these the ramblings of a deluded fool and I would perhaps nod in agreement, You may call these words works of art, of this I can never be sure. However, if you see through these words a friend who may at times share the path you tread on, I would be the richer for it and would gratefully accept. My review: This book is a collection of poems divided into two sections romance and reflections . First of all, the cover of the book is beautiful but it could have been designed in a much better way. Title of the book is convincing and appropriate. The poems are indeed songs from a lost soul. The writing style is lucid and captivating. A must read for all the poetry lovers. My ratings: 4.5 out of 5 stars

A YEAR OF WEDNESDAYS

Hello BookLovers! Welcome back to  BOOK REVIEWS BY SIMRAN  . For today, I'll be reviewing  A YEAR OF WEDNESDAYS  by  SONIA BAHL . Blurb: A flight from New Delhi to new York. Two strangers, seat 7A and seat 7B, who have nothing in common. Absolutely nothing. Except they are both hoping the seat next to theirs remains empty. It doesn't. Mid-flight turbulence and infant incontinence forces them to interact—the cool wall Street guy and the mom-with-the-drool-stained-sweater-and-ordinary-aspirations. Blistering wit, opposing views, and some unexpectedly poignant admissions keep them addictive engaged and hopelessly sleep deprived through the fifteen-hour journey. Touch down... And they leave the cabin without a backward Glance, jumping right back into their dramatically different lives. Never to meet again. But somehow they continue to travel together—interlocked forever through an inexplicable connectedness. Can one meeting change everything forev...

IVORY GLEAM

First of all, I would like to thank the Author,  Dr. Priya Dolma Tamang for sending this beautiful book, with a gift and a cute note. Alright, so the Blurb of the book says: A deluge of poetry and prose, ambiguously honoring the essence of existence from birth onto death, life and loss, self and society, romantic love and pensive longing, melancholy of regret to gratitude in healing, and the struggles of and strength in femininity. A potpourri of musings assembled with a hint of practical spirituality, to be savored passably as an oracle of hearts to the many answers, whose questions our minds are yet to comprehend. Ivory Gleam is split into three chapters of learning, longing and loving. Each chapter is a journey traversing a different road to the ultimate destination of self-reflection. Now, let's talk about this beautifully written book. 1. BOOK COVER I really like the cover of the book. It is a combination of pink, yellow and white. The colour pink signifies ca...
