IN LOVE WITH SIMRAN

I received this book in return of an honest review. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌠/5 stars. Blurb: Sanjana's best friend at college is murdered. She was in love with a business tycoon named Nik Sethi, and Sanjana is certain that he killed her. In an effort to find proof, she decides to get close to him. Good looking and rich, Nik falls in love with Sanjana instantly, but a month later, when he accidentally discovers her real agenda, he throws her out of his life. Determined to nail him, Sanjana's desperation exceeds all limits when she realizes that she too, like her friend, has fallen in love with a killer. After she escaped an attack one night, Sanjana quits college and goes into hiding. Now her only ambition is to punish the killer and her only weapon is her body. In a last, desperate attempt, she uses herself as bait and pursues her best plan. There are only two options: she becomes a victim or becomes a victor. My review: The title of the b...

LEHENGEY AND LAFDEY

A humorous story of marriage and it's crazy rituals. The Author narrates incidents which happen with him during the journey of getting married to the love of his life. It is an interesting book. Relatable to who are already married and rhe ones who are going to get married. Language used is simple and easily understandable. I'd rate this book 🌟🌟🌟🌠/5 stars.

SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS

Have you been in love? Have you been in a relationship with you true love despite knowing that your family or the society won't accept it? Ever been in a relationship which has a large age gap? Then you would be able to relate with "Sometimes it happens" by Karan Sharma. The story revolves around the love life of Gautam, a 25 year old upcoming professional and Roshni, a senior management member working in the same Multinational Bank. The difference between their ages is 12 years. Gautam's best friend, Rohit and his sister, Richa try to make him understand that this age difference is going to be a biggest hurdle in their lives. Things change when Gautam moves to Singapore for a month due to some work. He realized something which he'd have realized before. The story is unique and not like any other normal love story (A new concept). Language used is easily understandable. The writer did justice to the characters. I'd rate this book 🌟&#1...

LOVE, A RATHER BAD IDEA, ALL IT GIVES IS A LOUSY HANGOVER

Today's book is "Love, a rather bad idea, all it gives is a lousy hangover" by Anirban Mukherjee. I picked this one from the World Book Fair, Delhi. The cover was nice but didn't go with the title, neither did it go with the story. Title: The title just didn't do justice to the story, here the title and the story are like two parallel lines which can never meet. My review: The language used can easily be understood. The story was nice but not too good. It is just a one time read. All the people living or have lived in hostels can in many ways relate to the story and can re-live the memories of their hostel life. In the end, friendship and love conquers over everything else and the story has a nice end. I'd give this book 🌟🌟🌟/5 stars.

TABLE FOR ONE

A woman in her 30s who does not like her simple yet boring life thinks to change something about it and go to a Europe trip for a month before getting married to explore the different cultures and meet new people and be herself. She visits three different places and all the places have different stories waiting for her. Her life changes in a positive way, she started loving her life, learns how to live alone, how to live with new people, and most importantly, how to fall in love❤️ Love, she's been waiting for all her life but, All she takes back to India is the memories, memories of every place she visited, every person she met, every fear she overcame, and the lover she met. In the end, the book felt incomplete and some of my questions were left unanswered. It is a good one time read. I'd rate it a 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5.

THE SECRET WISH LIST

Preeti Shenoy is my favorite writer. I started reading books when I was in 8th standard and since then I've never looked back. The first book I read was "Life is what you make it" by Preeti Shenoy. The novel I'm going to review today is the one I read some years back but this Christmas, this was a gift given by my love❤️ and I ended up reading it again❤️. So, here's the review as well as the summary: A girl named Diksha, who listens to her parents all her life and does what the society would say is good and never tried to betray the trust of her parents until one day, when she falls in love with her brother's friend, Ankit. Just when she starts thinking that her life is falling into place, something happens which changes her life🤔. The characters in the book have played their role very well. Language used is comfortable for every reader. Story never gets boring but indeed becomes interesting after every page. Read the book to get to know h...
