TABLE FOR ONE

A woman in her 30s who does not like her simple yet boring life thinks to change something about it and go to a Europe trip for a month before getting married to explore the different cultures and meet new people and be herself. She visits three different places and all the places have different stories waiting for her. Her life changes in a positive way, she started loving her life, learns how to live alone, how to live with new people, and most importantly, how to fall in love❤️ Love, she's been waiting for all her life but, All she takes back to India is the memories, memories of every place she visited, every person she met, every fear she overcame, and the lover she met. In the end, the book felt incomplete and some of my questions were left unanswered. It is a good one time read. I'd rate it a 🌟🌟🌟🌟/5.

THE SECRET WISH LIST

Preeti Shenoy is my favorite writer. I started reading books when I was in 8th standard and since then I've never looked back. The first book I read was "Life is what you make it" by Preeti Shenoy. The novel I'm going to review today is the one I read some years back but this Christmas, this was a gift given by my love❤️ and I ended up reading it again❤️. So, here's the review as well as the summary: A girl named Diksha, who listens to her parents all her life and does what the society would say is good and never tried to betray the trust of her parents until one day, when she falls in love with her brother's friend, Ankit. Just when she starts thinking that her life is falling into place, something happens which changes her life🤔. The characters in the book have played their role very well. Language used is comfortable for every reader. Story never gets boring but indeed becomes interesting after every page. Read the book to get to know h...

THE ONE FROM THE STARS

A beautifully written book by Mr. Keshav Aneel. According to the Author himself, He is all about his dreams and a very emotional person at heart who loves travelling to peaceful places❤️ According to Keshav, this particular story is connected to every child who comes from a middle class family background. This book stands for an unsaid or very less said emotion of every heart, that despite having all the potential, due to lack of money, has to willingly or unwillingly quit on dreams and take a safer path owing to parental pressure. I personally believe, everyone can relate to this story. Every middle class family goes through certain situations wherein they have lack of money or sometimes lack of confidence in their children, a parent just wants their child to settle in a very nicely paying 9-5 job and not pursue their dreams because they can pay less. From the point of view of the parents, they are correct in their manner and they think what they're doing for their c...

REMINISCENCE

Reminiscence is a collection of poems reflecting the poets learning from her experiences. The poems are an assortment of style and genre without restricting to a specific tone and style. The poet has exercised freedom in depicting various aspects of our life along with the importance of nature and other living beings. The poems have a sweet blend of Rhythm and blank verse to avoid monotony. The poet Devika Das has written the poems in a very beautiful way❤️. One of my favourite poems from this book was "smile" which says: "Just a little smile cheers your heart The day goes well when with a smile it starts It keeps you in good humour, preserves peace in your soul It gives you the force to try and move towards your goal" Other Poems in the book are also well written and with the proper use of grammar and different words which are not difficult to understand. The poems are well versed and understood by every person and we all can relate to each and every poe...

Her family is very much supportive towards her and her cousin is always with her helping her in any way possible and making every moment enjoyable. When we move further in the story, we see how she moves on in her life by breaking up with her then boyfriend and she also starts her life afresh. Ending is really nice Aaditya and Naina finally confess their love for each other and lead their lives happily. My review: The author's way of writing was good with some grammatical errors which can be rectified in future. Simple english was used so that everyone can u...
